So lately I've seen a male cardinal hanging around my house ... today I noticed him perched in the Rose of Sharon tree outside my dining room window ... I ran and grabbed my camera and, of course, he flew away before I got back ... I decided to sit and wait ... while waiting I heard chirping and saw a baby sitting in the tree right next to a nest. Jackpot! I've been taking pictures all afternoon and even had an appearance by Momma Bird. Most of the shots are taken with me hanging out my bedroom window to get a better view ... here's my favorite so far:
