Hi all, I have just discovered this fabulous web site and I am enjoying the pictures.

I am afraid that I really don't have time to rate images, however, in any appropriate way. My schedule just does not permit me at present.

I do manage to find some time to take a few shots when I am in the street, however, walking to and from work.

My question is, would it be acceptable to post images without rating everyone else's?

Hershel, welcome to DPC! I don't think there's anything in the rules that says you cannot submit photos if you don't vote, so you are ok there. However, it's kind of an unwritten rule to at least try and vote on as many photos as you can - otherwise we'd have tons of submissions and no votes. So, if you can, try to vote (you need to vote on 20% for your votes to be counted). If you cannot, I think you should still submit. Looking fwd to your submissions!
