Anyone know where one would find out about local photography clubs? Are there websites to search? I've tried doing searches for those types of websites but haven't come up with anything.

I bet someone at the closest camera store knows how to get in touch with your local group (if any). Other resources might be a local newspaper, library, or community/recreation center. If there's a college around, their art department ought to know ...

Also, check the local camera stores as already suggested. Some photo clubs don't have websites.

Thanks Paul and Colette.

The problem with living "in the sticks" is that everything is far away. I will check with the few camera stores around and see if they know of any. I will also check with the local colleges.

Colette, that was a good website. Thank you. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find anything nearby. Most everything I've found is down towards the city.

I did come across this website in my search. It looks like it could be pretty useful to some.
