Last night I was looking at the Moon through my binoculars (just ordered my telescope) and I noticed a "star" just below it to the right, which I knew was Jupiter. Then I noticed two little dots at either side of Jupiter. My first thought was, "holy cow!, I think those are two of its satellites!" and frankly, I still think that's what they were, but I just want to make sure I'm not mistaken. I was reading on an april skywatcher chart that on April 6th two of Jupiters moons will cast a shawdow on the giant jovian planet, Io and Europe...I wonder if those are the ones I saw.
