datestamp?
As long as your time and date are set correctly the 10D should embed those details into the RAW/JPG file.

Do you mean you want it printed on a print?
Page 135, menu > print order (press set) > setup (press set) > Date ON (pres set)
I hope that is what you are looking for.
(just checked and it is very similar on my XTi.)
