Good reasons for requesting an admin note are:
- You are going out of town and won't be available to provide proof if asked. (This won't actually get you a note, but going through the process will provide you the opportunity to upload your original.)
- You are getting comments suggesting that a majority of people don't believe you achieved your photo within the legal editing rules, but you did.
Bad reasons for requesting an admin note:
- Because you feel like it.
- Because you no longer like the entry you submitted and want it deleted.
If you're going to request an admin note, please enter a reason why. We don't just slap that approved message on anyone...we need to know that there is a reason it's needed. It's not always obvious to us if you just request a note and don't tell us why. In addition, if you're requesting a note for no real reason and we're spending time processing that, it takes away from the time we can spend checking out photos with valid DQ requests.
