We are closing the current mall studio in a month or so, then reopening a new one sometime in September. BIG changes... so the site had to start looking professional.
So did we achieve it? (Well START it anyway, still lots to do.)
Sorry to be negative about it, but I'm sure you'd want to hear that side as well.
Overall, at first glance it looks great !
However, you play music at me, which I detest. I often listen to music while I am at the computer, and I do NOT want others to force THEIR stuff over the top of mine. I know many others feel like that, too. Only saving grace was that once I turned it off, it stayed off - some websites don't even have the grace to do that much.
The loading took a little longer (fast connection here) than I would have liked, but then again I AM spoiled and like things to happen instantly. It wasn't too bad, though, I could live with it.
At first I liked the scrolling, but then I saw so much of it - felt like EVERYTHING was scrolling - that I didn't like it anymore.
Dark backgrounds often look very classy, as is the case on your website. Downside to that is that light text on a dark background is very harsh on my eyes. Usually I do a "select all" to make it a little bit easier, but that didn't work on your flash site (btw, I spotted one typo - airbushing).
So overall whilst it looks rather nice, I never choose to spend much time on such a site, but go somewhere that I find easier to look at and work with.
To ME, user friendly is more important than pretty. Other's mileage obviously varies.
