He is a WWII vet who will be 89 soon. I was just over visiting with him when I found out, for the first time, that he still had his Army uniform. I found this out because he told me he was donating it all (including dogtags) to a museum who had asked him for some items. He was going to send with them, THIS PHOTO. He asked if maybe I could scan it first and perhaps even "spruce it up some." I told him I thought the orginal had character to it with the aging process, but I still wanted to scan it (I had never seen it before either) and work on it for us. I also told him that I can help the picture look better, but I couldn't make him look any better 'cause he looks so handsome there! He just grinned. :)
I will be working on it, but I know some folks here are so much better - plus enjoy a challenge - so I thought I'd put that link up of the full size photo so people could work on it if so moved.
