Okay thanks.. What does the 'but NO new shapes or features may be created in the process'. Would this allow me to burn, let say, a 'clean table surface' to make it 'look dirty'?

If the dirt didn't already exist, I would consider that a new feature and vote DQ.

Well if that's the case wouldn't this be a DQ? I would think that it would be legal to dirty the tablecloth. Much like this man's face has been dirtied(sp?) Sorry not to pick on this image.. just an example
