Anyone live near the Newport, VA

I am heading flying into Newport News VA Wednesday morning for a job at a ship yard, Just wondering if anyone in that area would like to get together for some site seeing or a GTG. I will be working days but maybe some short nights would be a good time to take some shots. I've just about shot pictures of everything around here though I could get some of VA as well.

Hi,

I used to live in Hampton Va and there are a lot of good places to take pics. Unfortunately, I'm a little too far away to hook up for a photo shoot.

There are some good photo ops at Ft. Monroe. Nice fort and lighthouse and its on the waterfront. The botonical gardens in Norfolk are also very nice.

Hope you have a great trip. Are you going to be working there permanently? I worked at NNS for 8 yrs as an electrician. I have a lot of good memories from being there.

I will be heading over to norfolk once I land so thanks for the heads up, I will go looking for these places.
