In a recent challenge, I was DQ'd for useing dodge and burn as a cloneing tool.I am not complaining,I just need to know for sure what the problem was.Someone else might have the same question.I'm a photoshop dummy, so please help me out. I thought the dodge and burn tools were for making your picture lighter and darker in places. And the cloneing tool was something completely different, to remove things from your picture. (It was basic editing by the way)Is a cloning tool a general thing or is it just a cloning tool by it's self? Do cloning tools have other names such as dodge and burn? I am really confused,which is most of the time, I don't want to make the same mistake again. Thank you! |
