I'm just wondering if you think the undedited one would have rated higher. Well, it's not completely unedited, just pretty much cropping, and a minor unsharp mask. I've never added grain, or glow to photos, so maybe I went a little overboard, or something. Thanks very much.

The focus is pretty awful. I'm not sure quite what I was thinking.

On my monitor here at work (oops) I can't see much difference. Would not have affected my vote. What did you do to it ?

The main thing I did was add a lot of grain. It's pretty grainy, and I think, too much. I also added "diffuse glow" over the whole photo, which you can't really see all that much. Mostly just the grain.

Your un-edited photo does seem a bit better than the edited version. I don't think it would have changed my vote, though. As a beginning digital photographer, myself, I find it very hard to decide when to stop with the whole editing thing.
