I think they're really cool and funky. I too can see them huge on a wall. I don't really care for the pineapple, though, maybe because it's so big and you can't see as much of the background as in the others. There's also a shadow behind it. Maybe if you just had a piece of pineapple?
The concept is great - for a kitchen or restaurant as mentioned. The shadows really hurt though. If you're using a light tent, try to get some low side lighting to get rid of them. And I agree with Karen about the pineapple - it crowds the image a bit. Slicing all the larger fruit in half lengthwise might add to the appeal.

I will have to look into sacrificing a slice of pinapple to put into the paint:-)
As to the shadows - It would be great if they were not there. But the several dozen shots I took without flash the colors looked very flat (and yes the top of the light tent box was open so I could get an overhead shot). The 2 dozen shots taken with the flash on slow reflected a much vibrant color to the photos - and yes I did use the trick to 'soften' the flash shadows by putting a thin strip of tissue around the flash unit (and without that tissue the shadows were much harsher).
