So I tried to shoot something in the soft focus entry by doing two things I haven't done. One, shoot a simple subject (like a shed) and make it interesting. Two, soft focus by stretching a black nylon over the lens. btw, I shot it at about 7:00AM.
Well, I shot, and chose this as my best one, and processed it. I upped the warm tones as i was trying for the dreamy style look, like a Thomas Kinkade (not that I'm a fan). Well, I think I overprocessed it and it came out boring to most voters. I was happy w/ the few comments but I was wondering if anyone would offer suggestions as to how to make this better. I've seen tons of very successful barn and shed shots here, and would like to think of ways to make a simple subject pop.
