....well my wins actually. Entered photos into the open section of my hometown show. There was an amateur section as well as an open section. There were over 600 photos entered. Here is how I went:
Louie won Open Champion Print as well as 1st prize in Animal Study
Won 1st prize for Rural Section
Won 2nd prize in Portrait
Won 2nd prize in Scenery
Won 2nd prize in Photoshop Section
Received a highly commended
Received a highly commended

I won a prize or commendation in every section I entered and even though there are only 3 firsts amongst them, no-one managed to scoop something in each section.

I am quite chuffed actually and I have to give a lot of the credit to what I have learned here on DPC over the last year.

So thankyou DPC members.

Great shots, and great wins! The brisbane show is coming up in a few months, and I had some random thoughts of entering. Mabye I will get around to it, but I won't expect to win anything.

Well you wont know unless you give it a go....who knows you might get a nice surprise. Go on...you know you want to!!!!

I intend to enter the Wanneroo Show later on this year, it's my local. Perth Royal Show next year maybe.
