Horicon Marsh Bird Festival May 9th-12th

Hey all you Wisconsinites, I just realized the Horicon Marsh Bird Festival is coming up on May9th-12th. If anyone is interested in meeting up for the fun, let me know. I will be taking one of the early morning tours, & a boat tour. The site is a little slow, it is hosted on dial up.

Looks like it will be a great weekend. Too bad I have to be in Des Moines that weekend, otherwise I'd make the drive.

I am good for the AM hours on Sunday, I have to be back to Watertown before 1PM to take my oldest daughter to a Bday Party.

Would you guys like to do a boat tour? They have a a couple early morning ones. BTW is the 12th Mother's day?

Sunday the 11th is Mother's Day. So that weekend is out for me.

Saturday would actually work better for me. I wouldn't have to leave as early. And yes a boat tour sounds like a plan as long as the weather is fair.

Lets figure on a mid-morning boat tour, they have a banding demonstration with birds of prey also, & then there is a whole lot of other stuff, evening bus tour, etc. I have a meeting Friday night in LaCrosse, so early rising may be a bit difficult for me.

I am sorry to have to do this, But I am not going to be able to make this one, A last minute decision to take our kids to the Zoo tomorrow has moved all my Friday Jobs to Saturday. I will see ya all in a couple of weeks.
