Here is a pretty cool bee photo I took this morning.
this litle guy was very curious and hung around our camp site for close to 2 hours. I finally got out the camera to try to get some shots of him flying around.
20 minutes and 24 shots later I got this shot.
Hand held, @ 200mm with 12 mm Kenko extension tube, manual focus, ISO 400, 1/500 f9.5.
I have more pics to share later on of some other cool bugs and bees
edit: and by the way, that type of head on shot is nearly impossible to catch with such good focus. it's a great shot. the tones could be tweaked a little to make the bee pop out more but nonetheless a great shot. not easy to pull that off
