Took this picture last night. While processing I though a year of full moon's would be a nice collection. Anyone want to see if we can take a year of full moon pictures starting this month. Below are the dates and times of the full moon each month and the names of each full moon. This may be interesting. I'm going to see if I can get a year of full moons.
Because of weather your photo can be taken a day before to a day after the official full moon. But try to get as close to the actual full moon date/time as possible at your location. All times are Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

Looks like you had some haze between you and the moon.My setting were:ISO:100Tv: 1/60Av: f/10Lens: Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USMFocal Length: 300mmIS: OFFMode: ManualFocus: ManualTaken in LIVE VIEW modeI don't know if you used MF or AF but on a full Moon the best (IMO) is to take it in the MF mode. Make sure your tripod is steady and use a remote or 2/10 time delay so you will not have to press the shutter with your finger. It will help on camera shake.
I used MF, and a shutter release, but had my center tube on my tripod extended which probably reduced stability. I also spot metered which seemed to make sense in this situation.

Looks like your photograph focused more on the foreground than the moon. I did a picture similar to this but had to use double exposure to get the results I wanted. Here it is
Nice. Double exposure for focus? Settings? Both?
I haven't tried that yet.
For focusing. I focused on the foreground first, which put the moon slightly out of focus. The I took a picture focused on the moon and overlayed. Used levels to adjust.
