Noel, I have trouble with the flikr hookup. As well, I find it hard to rate according to your categories, but I want to support your efforts. I have to say that "good" photos will work better than gutsy ones, ie well focused especially on the eyes - doesn't matter so much if the dog is beat up if there is that doggie thing we all love in their eyes. I think the public can well imagine that dog life is not wonderful in some countries. On the other hand if the photo showing appalling conditions is well done beyond the demands of documentation - OK, maybe a trifle gutsy.... Were I to buy a print (I don't buy prints) it would be for the artistry of it. I hope this is helpful. |
