Depends on method of reproduction.
If you are going to a pro shop for a press run, they will give you details, but they will use CMYK.
If you are using a PC printer, they expect an RGB file and their drivers are written accordingly, so giving them a CMYK my cause a color shift.
If you are having them printed at walmart., etc i would think they expect an RGB pic as well. Some folks have gone so far as to pick one and only one place for photo printing and know the specific machine and it's color profile and calibarion schedule.
