@jrs - I used a polarizer to cut the glare on the glass, which probably sacrificed some of the sharpness. The pilot said that was the clearest he'd seen the Canyon in 6 months, and he's been doing that run several times weekly since.
@Fadoi - the polarizer prolly was responsible for the excessive darkening at the top, although I'm not complaining...i think it was kind of a cool effect :)
@hsteg - no, the ladder kept blowing off the wing since we were moving at about 500 miles per hour.
@Steve - oddly I am sure it's 29,000 feet, since the pilot was so excited about the clarity he actually came down from 32,500'. I think the dude had secret aspirations to be a tour guide, but could only find work as a commercial pilot.
@Fadoi/outofreachx - you could actually see the hole there, but I cloned it out in Photoshop since it's a member's challenge.

P-Ness
dude, just too too funny . hahahahaha :) good job, excellent photograph!
I think the official name for it was The Canadair Regional Cigar Tube With Wings. Originally these were meant for transporting Pygmies and small children, but now are actually used with full-size people. The good news is, it includes a free yoga lesson. Of course, there's only one pose and you have to hold it for the duration of the flight. Unless you use the lavatory...then you learn two poses.
Does anyone hear the America West theme music playing in the background?
