What exposure length and ISO settings did you use?

Mostly I used a shutter of 2.5s at f/8 and iso100.. bumped up to iso400 for some shots at .5s - 1s. Hadn't done something similar before so I mostly improvised in the moment. These are shot from pretty close at a distance of 100m with the 17-55.
St. George fires off from 2 locations. The show was a bit lame this year, probably do to economics.
Settings, ISO 100, F/22, bulb, on tripod with remote trigger.

I always look at something unique in photography, even in a very regular subject such as "Fireworks"... and these two got exactly what I am looking for.

Wow, I thought *I* was lucky with some really colorful ones, until I saw alans_world's. Geeze -- if that was from a "lame" show, I'd love to see what they put together when they go all out!
ETA - Hey, Leo! :) Were those shots from Tempe? I was on my way out there, but I read (misread, apparently), they were supposed to start at 10pm, so I got there right smack in the middle of all the "exit" traffic (ugh!). Had a cool area scoped out beforehand I was going to use across the river so I could get Mill Ave bridge, reflections off the water, the whole thing...

thanks so much i was really trying to isolate the explosions which was fairly easy with a dark and cloudy sky and some minor levels adjs. topaz was used in moderation, primarily to draw out the smoke on a few of the pics. i really lacked confidence when cropping them but overall im pretty satisfied with the composition. thanks so much for the compliments. without this site i wouldve never been able to take those pics.
