Hi fellow DPC'rs. I was hoping for some help with a project I am working on. I am creating a website for a charity event taking place this summer. The basic idea is that a friend of mine and his family are going to waterski about 880 kms across parts of Ontario, raising money for cancer research and the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. 100% of the money raised is going to the cause.
As part of the event, on Aug 9th 2008 there will be a "world on the water" day. Where anyone, anywhere in the world is encouraged to have fun on the water and to donate $20. for the cause. I have not created this part of the site yet, and I need a bunch of photos of people/families etc having fun doing activities on the water. Kayaking, swimming, boating, skiing, sailing etc.
I was hoping that some of you might be kind enough to give me permission to use a photo or two on this page. I want the page to have about 15 or so small photos of water activities. You are welcome to put your "photo by" on the bottom of the photo as long as it is not too distracting. I only need small photos so you do not need to worry about them getting stolen. No larger than 300pixels please.
You can view the site in progess here. If you are kind enough to help out this cause you can email me the photo via my email link on the profile, and please say in the email that you grant me permission to use it on this charity website for a maximum of until the end of 2008.
A few quickies that I uploaded before bed. No processing yet, just resize and upload. (Not even cropped yet) Let me know if this is the sort of thing you're interested in, and I'll look for more.
ive got some surfing shots in my portfolio.have a look and let me know if you want any.ive also got plenty of boat pics, mostly gamefishing boats,i just havent uploaded any yet.
I would be very happy to help out. Have a look at my DPC portfolio, or my personal .mac gallery, and PM me if you see any that you would like to use.
Here is the .mac gallery link. Photo Gallery, Waddy
This is a not very well processed copy that I had in my workshop. Gotta better copy print ready if you're interested. I would have to fill out a model release for my kid but that's notta prob if you email me one...
TC
PS: Just PM me if you wanna copy.
Well if you go back to the link again here. You will now see a globe on the page that you can click on to get to the world on the water page. It is all subject to change (likely many...) as I am sure any of you who has built a site for someone else can understand. :)
Thanks again for all your help, it is heartwarming to know that there are still folks that want to lend their assistance to a good cause.
