Late last night I sat dejected at my computer monitor. I was certain my Silence submission would reach an all-time high for me, if not for the entire DPC world ;-). I would have been terribly disappointed with anything less than 6.5. Then it got real...
After the first 26 votes I sat at 5.07. "Man, what's wrong with these people?" I thought. Don't they recognize genious when they see it??
After careening back to earth, I picked myself up and resumed watching the votes come in. Then it happened. First 5.19, then 5.25, ...
Now I'm sitting at 5.69 and will be elated if it stays there!!!! Isn't life (and DPC) grand!! (...or do I just need to get a life??)
