ask them how they handle travel expenses. depending on how you're charging them, they may pay you your full hourly rate or a portion of it, as well as mileage. my policy is i don't charge for local work, but anything outside of 30 miles i charge for; if you have a similar policy, let them know (and if you don't, then get one ;-) ). depending on the client and their budget, they might kick you an extra $50-250--but, you won't know until you ask. |
