I would like to sell my 3 month old 717, flash, filters, 3X zoom lens, second battery and a 256mb SanDisk MS Pro card and upgrade to I'm guessing a used Canon D10.
How much can I ask for my Camera? And while I'm at it, any takers??? If I don't sell the 717 first, my Fiance will probably kill me, if she doesn't already when I get the D10.
I don't want to rush because I hate to think about how much money I'm going to loose by wanting to step up too soon.

I'm so-so happy with the 3X, you MUST use it with a tri/mono-pod and it doesn't work well if you zooming in really close to something, so it's great for landscapes and such if you just need to get closer. But don't plan on reading small print from distance, it will be blury.

Well that partially why I was posting, I'm not sure what to sell it for. The freaking thing is about brand-new and just that alone means I'm going to loose my shirt.
Honestly, I'll sell it in what ever way maximizes my return, I'm also not in hurry and I don't NEED to sell it... I'm willing to take offers on the whole package right now, only because if I sell the parts my camera will become un-usable to me!
EDIT: I really like the camera, but I've come to realize that for doing what I need to do, it's not the right camera... That said, it's a hobby, so I don't HAVE to sell it.

Yes the battery is a true Sony, only 2 weeks old, I needed it for this past weekend... The filters I would have to check on, I can't remember and I have 2 kinds. I'll be home later tonight and I will check...
What Lenses fit the 10D? I've got a Canon 35mm SLR, the same lens as the 300D takes, will that work on the 10D???

as long is it is a canon lens, i belive itll fit on any canon. BTW, would you just sell the 1 battery?

There is a 2 year warrenty on the camera, but Idon't think I can transfer it. If anything was to go wrong with camera I would be more than willing to take care of repairs through CompUSA my self...

NOTE: Because I hate suprises also. I want to mention that I have my name and my parents phone number etched in small letters on the bottom of the camera, next to serial numbers. I used my parents because their number hasn't changed in 15 years and mine has changed 15 times.
I'm a very honest guy, if we were ever contacted about it we would of course give it back :) Althought I'm sure it would be pretty easy to get rid of the etching.
You got a great deal on the camera...I must have gotten the bend over and kiss me deal on mine.
Well I know I'm loosing money some where in selling this thing, cause I spent way more than what I'm selling it for. But crap it's like a new car, you loose 5 grand just driving it off the lot!
You may want to try looking for something similiar (and used but in mint condition) on www.ebay.com. I find the final sale price for most cameras is almost dead on what they charge at a used camera store or through a personal sale.

I mean SanDisk makes the card and it's 256mb and I was maybe falsly assuming everyone would figuer out that it was a Sony Memory Stick as it's the only thing that fits the 717 and that it was memory stick pro as anything above 128 is MSP.
