Can I get some feedback on this shot that I took today?
I passed this fork in a creek yesterday and was bummed that I didn't have my camera with me. Today I made sure to grab it and on the way home it was raining but I still stopped to take some shots. Can you tell me what you think?
It certainly has a mysterious quality/feel to it. Something you might see for the bg of a movie DVD cover or something. Might be some room to play around some with PP variations.

I checked the histogram of your picture.
It leaves room on the dark and bright side.
In situations like this you should remember that your camera tries to expose your picture to an 18% grey reflection. As a huge part of your shot is fog-white, the camera thinks it's a bright picture and underexposes your picture. So you should bump up your f-stops about 1/3 to 2/3. THis will shift your histogram to the right and will make it much brighter.
Of course you can do this afterwards in Photoshop using a LEVEL adjustment layer or an CURVES layer.
But getting it right in camera is the better approach.
THis will also bring out some details in the branches of the trees.
For my tast a little loos on the left side.
no fog no ineresting tress, really nothing that adds anything.
try a crop where the fog part is in the middle.
in CS3 - try a selection ratio of 4 wide by 3 and start in selecting in the upper right corner to the bottom left, almost to the bottom. This is how I would have cropped to show off the fog between the darked trees
