Juliet was walking Karma to the beach and back, and had not secured the collar clasp properly. Karma took it in her mind to take off and run home from the beach entrance, a distance of 1/3 mile that involved crossing highway 28, our "busy" road but not a "freeway". In any case, there's not that much traffic at this time of year, so all ended well.
She says that she was "having a heart attack" and photographing the stud never entered her mind.
It was about 10 miles from the beach in hiking boots, camera bag, 12 different layers of clothes and a bag of seashells. And it seemed like there was about 945729458 cars on that road at that time. lol
But anyways, Bear took me to the airport by 2pm and my flight was at 6pm, got into phoenix at 2 am his time (11 ours) two hour drive home, four hours of sleep and ready for another day of unpacking my 27 pounds of seashells lol, and really it is 27 pounds of seashells, they weighed teh bag lol
