I almost used this for the freestudy, but then did another one I like better. I would still love to get some feedback on this one, however.


Here's the out of the camera shot:


I think it would have also been good for "old ways" but it was shot outside the submission period.

I really like your edit. It's amazing how much you've been able to bring out the detail in the plane, specifically that stencilled text. A massive one in the eye to the 'photoshop is not photography' posse :P

I wonder what a fully desat version would look like, with the star being black. Put a black border on it and it might add to the wartime feel...maybe even a light tone?

I like the shot and I personally like your edit even more...good work!
I am not sure this would be a real high scorer for the majority of the DPC crowd, but I think it def. has a unique artistic feel to it.
