I had a few I was considering, but thought the one I entered was the best of what I had. Unfortunately I had taken a bunch of shots over the weekend, and then forgot to bring them in to work that Tues. Monday had been a holiday and I only have internet access from work.
 This was interesting, but the view seemed overly soft. Even though I thought it was a very watercolor-y effect, I was pretty sure it would get slammed by voters.
 This just seemed to lose so much in the resizing that I lost faith in it.
 I was really pleased w/ this overall, but the lights (the big black rectangles in the upper right) just killed it for me.
 I wasn't too sure about the slanted framing here. And I saw a comment on someone else's shot about a similar angle (and it wasn't a good comment), so I guess it's good I didn't go there.
 This is another where I didn't notice the odd/watercolory feel to the view out the window until it was too late (and the girl was gone). I probably would have gone w/ this if the wall hadn't been so washed out. |
