Does any one use external flash on Sony f717? What kind? And How do you like it? In advanse Thank you.

i use the hvl f-1000. To me, its the same as the 32x, because you still have to plug it into the side acc. port. It works great. BTW, I bought it from //www.provantage.com for about 50 less than sony wanted it for.

I shot with mine for the first time this weekend. I'm pretty happy with it. I got mine at the B&H store in NYC because I wanted to hold it in my hands and look at it before I got it.

I made my own softbox for it for about a dollar and I'm very happy with it. I've been using it for studio shots (macroish) and action shots.
