This is a photo taken with a borrowed 70-200L f4 earlier this year during a hawk flying display. The light was pretty poor (overcast Jan day, late afternoon etc) and I was (foolishly?) shooting on Av at this point. I changed later to TV to try and freeze the motion a bit more, but it was too late for this one.
Question is, apart from the inevitable point that I would have preferred it to be sharper, this photo just seems a little dull and slightly too 'red' for my tastes. What techniques could I use to try and make the subject 'pop' a little more?
