Again, not pointing out anyone, and Im not mad or anything just wish people would not get offended by such minimal things, that is only for a challenge. It does not mean I stereotype....anyway, sorry again.
One of the biggest lessons to learn on DPC, is accepting the criticism we receive. It's a difficult pill to swallow, but a lot can be learned from what others have to say. It also doesn't mean you have to agree, OR apologize.
Maybe take some time to reflect on WHY they were offended (rather than 'THAT' they were offended). If it really bothers you that much, send the person a PM, or possibly give an explanation (sometimes, offense is just because of language barriers, given the multi-national format here).
Regardless, don't be so hard on yourself (OR take things too seriously or too personal). You are doing exactly what every other person on this site has done at one time (look back & seen 'errors' to be improved upon, or not terribly enjoyed a comment received) - its just a part of learning & we all go through it.

Apparently one person was offended enough by the title to say something. Is it because "wifely duties" is sometimes a synonym for sex? Or am I missing the joke altogether? Anyway, it looks like the problem was technical (focus) more than thematic. And good for you for marking the comment as helpful. I think that shows a good attitude!
Are you kidding? If "I" think who and how "I" offended in DPC, I would shot myself of guilt.
Your photo is NOT even close to "SOME" photographer's work I see here, which makes me sick in my stomach... they never apologize, even they stand by their work all the way like wanna get hurt(!) for joy... Yeah :P
Anyway, I would not worry about it, I think it was funny :P
Concentrate on the focusing of your images, just because 1 or 2 folk get upset with humour, who cares.. what concerns me is that your 400D might need to go in for recalibration because most of your shots have a very SOFT feel to them, might be worth dropping it into Cano center in the new year for them to have a look at it.

You have people who are offended by shots of animals, veggies, guns, people in various degrees of undress, beggars, homeless people, drug addicts, sunset, sunrise, babies, water drops, veiled or scarfed heads, nipples, legs, flowers, bugs, ladybugs, waterfalls, Northern lights, ArtROFLMAO burning villages....you name it, someone someday will be offended. So ignore them and keep on shooting! And yes check the focus on your camera.
I was not offended by your image! I love the humor in it. Just wish your dof was a little better.

I don't think you need to apologize. I do think you need to recognize that others are entitled to their opinions, just as you are. I also agree with others that your score reflected the shot's quality much more than the concept.
Finally, and I don't think this applies given your comments on the shot, the attitude shown in the photo will get you in a lot more trouble in real life than it will on DPC!

Thanks everyone. I just wanted to let the person know (she knows he she is), that I apologize if it offended her, I respect her opinion and that is why I aplogogized. I take criticism very serious, meanting I learn from it. Yes this particular shot needed a lot of help, but on my laptop, it didn't look as bas as it did once I saw it from another pc, so oh well. I love getting the critisism, so please bring it on.
Also, yes I do think I need to have my camera looked at, something is def. wrong.
