indeed i was swayed by the 'tape' people & it worked very well initially
but the last time i did it i got a wad of adhesive stuck on my sensor
and since the universe is plotting against me - my last bottle of eclipes was empty .. had to phone around (Ont. residents: Vistek carries it .. Henrys does not) race out to purchase some...
I was thinking about this method. However, it'd probably be a good idea to let the sensor cool down for a few hours before trying it. If the sensor is warm it might actually melt the glue and cause this problem.
People who put tape in their cameras and end up with residue on the sensor cover shouldnt be surprised. And I'm pretty sure admiting to actually doing it on the internet will get you nominated for some awards.
