Hey guys, i've been struggling with this problem for the past month. I switched over from pc to mac last month. I am using a Macbook Pro running Photoshop CS. I calibrated the monitor with a SpyderPro puck at 2.2 gamma, and native white point. On the color settings in photoshop i set it to "North American Standards" sRGB. And sRGB on my 40D.
Why is it when i open and edit a picture in photoshop it looks fine but it looks much different (darker, more saturated, higher contrast) everywhere else. Such as with the mac viewer, iphoto, and uploaded online. When i had my pc i didn't have this problem. Please Help Help Help! |
