So I'll be in S. Carolina at the beginning of January - near Beaufort - Any hot tips? Don't miss shots?
I'll be camping on the beach for parts, so perhaps I'll get a sunrise. Though I'm more naturally suited to shooting sunsets.

Edisto Island.
Hunting Island State Park (closer than Edisto)
Bit of a drive, but:
Downtown Charleston (especially The Battery and the Market)
The SC Aquarium (and if you're there on Jan 27th, it's free admission)
