Hey guys! I recently did a nude photo shoot for a friend of mine, and now I'm wondering where I can get them printed. When you order online from somewhere like Mpix for example, do they censor what gets printed like a traditional 1 hour type of place does? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!
Be prepared for a lot of finger prints on the prints if they are done by humans at one of the fast turn around photo labs. They will get passed around and probably copies made. If you do them local, your best bet would be to wait while they get printed so you can watch what happens to all the prints.

Your pro-type labs (including MPix) do NOT censor content. They print & ship. No questions.
They will ask questions if they suspect child pornography. If they don't, they're legally on the hook for distributing it. Though they're typically going to be more educated about it than your average Wal Mart photo lab employee.
If your model looks young enough to appear under 18, it's best to include an ID shot that shows the model holding up their clearly legible ID or at least have that information on file.

it think walgreens dosnt check or shopko, they didnt looka t my photos last time i printed there, cuase thye have no need to count them cause they use the how many printed recipt unlike walmart.
Hi. Not been here before but my business is taking and selling all sorts of photographs. I recently asked several online printers if they would print a new range of female nude photos we are about to offer for sale. digitalab.co.uk, dscolourlabs.co.uk and fauxfilm.co.uk have all replied saying they have no problem at all printing our photos. Photobox were not so easy. We use their Pro-Galleries for sales as their system is excellent, but this was their reply to our enquiry; "Provided the images are tasteful and artistic and do not depict full frontal nudity you will be able to use them in your gallery." So, there are 3 to be going on with, but take my tip and don't be silly about it. DON'T expect labs to print things which are obscene, depraved, offensive or illegal.
I'm lucky enough to have a photo lab and shop in the lobby of my work place. The guy is not only a clerk but a photgrapher himself and understand perfectly such dilemas. I never had any problem with printing nude pictures (but never tried to print one where genitalia is visible tough).
I suggest you find a smal photo shop that also do prints. Often they offer print size that are less common and they also take care of the quality knowing there stuff instead of only pressing the buttons their boss told them to. Not only that, but they usually handle your picture with a great deal of professionnalism, since they they know how they would like their stuff to be treated.
Walmart won't. I had a batch of regular pictures that had a cleavage shot that they refused to print. When I asked about it, they said that it was nudity, even though nothing private was showing. :/
Search pro-print labs. They are professional and often give you high quality, hence them being pro.
A lot of my work would is not able to be printed without lots of questions at any place local or in a chain. I use pro-labs, however Zazzle (see link below) Prints anything as well. Tobad I didn't post my affiliate with them. Anyway, they do good work at great prices with fast delivery.
