I noticed when I flew back from Dublin the other week that there is no row of seats numbered 13. Dont know if this is common but its the first time I have noticed this only because I was in row 14.

Most hotels don't have a 13th floor. Here in San Francisco, there's no 13th Avenue. They named it Funston Ave instead.

While watching my national cricket team in action today, one of the commentators mentioned a player (who played a long time ago) who refused to get out of bed on Friday the 13th. I don't think he was unique either.

When I was a kid, we would get together with my Mom's Friend's families on Friday the 13th and have what we called a 'Knothead Party'. I introduced my daughters to the idea. I think they just like it because they get to drink soda and eat chips and dip.

In my office building there is no 13th floor....and I wonder if the people who work on "14" feel better because their floor has been mislabeled.
