I need light sources for two different events. Please help me with guidance as to what and who's product I should use, maybe a reference to purchase from if I'm not getting to greedy.
Sony DSC-F717, with hopes of upgrading to a D10 or equiv, but not in the near future.
To start with, I'm getting ready to go shoot a professional motorcycle event. I use to be a professional rider, now I just take pictures. For those on the other side of the pond, Observed Motorcycle Trials, I'm sure most of the Americans won't get it.
It's an indoor event and will be quick fast action from 5-10 feet away. I need something/anything that will help me get good shots here.
Second: My fake studio. I'm in need of lighting for doing still photography and such. I need something that can be small or I should say store small(er). I guess I'm not sure if I want/need a constant light or a flash with a remote/wired slave? I'm open to suggestions here.
I'm not 100% concearned about the studio light, a good cheap suggestion (not walmart cheap) will work, but I'm looking for a GOOD suggestion for the action photography. I refuse to drive 8 hours to take shitty pictures of my old riding buddies!
