i have it to say change because of how much i have changed in the past little while and how its made such a good difference in my life, and i want to be reminded of that forever.i got it in german for a few reasons, one its because I am German, and so not everyone will know what it means, because ultimatly, The tattoo is a reminder to myself, not to others.
You totally should have gotten Taz with some random chick's name scrolled under it. You're so going to regret that tattoo in a couple years. What if you decide you want to stay the same??

It doesn't matter if i decide i want to stay the same. It's the fact that I just went through such a huge change in my life, and I never want to forget it.
I like the pretty writing, and while I'm not a fan of the concept of tattoos myself, I do think a good one is pretty dang sexy.. maybe has to do with the fact that I fell in love with a guy with 3 tattoos...
Probably the worst thing you can tell a guy is that he just got a tat that has pretty writing....and its there forever.....lol....j/k....

Congrats! Great ink ... you definitely did it for the right reason ... something that has deep personal meaning ... you won't regret it, in fact I'd have to say you'll probably be addicted now ... I love tattoos ... still only have one myself but lately have really been itching to get another ... just haven't designed it to my total liking yet ...

That's great until somebody misinterprets it as some kind of white power/neo-nazi slogan since it's in German and cracks your skull open.
But enjoy it anyway.
I shouldn't be but that comment was a little bit over the top. I am 1/2 German and I hate when i hear all this you must be a neo-nazi and how people were saying that all Germans were and are Nazi's when that is so false. My grandfather was persuaded into becoming a Hitler Youth and was called upon to fight for his country and he did, who could say no to their Chancellor? He was captured by the Russians, Escaped and fled to Canada. Which is why I live here now. My grandfather, nor any of my family is a neo-nazi. I have not heard one neo-nazi remark until now. I am honestly still a bit shocked

the meaning of the tattoo is for myself. but, unfortunately I am very materialistic and flaunt every thing that I get. I like to hear good things about it. It makes me feel good.
I know it sounds self centered. But alot of people are like that, I'm just not afraid to admit it :-)
