Lotta nice shadows here :-) But we are (unfortunately, IMO) drifting away from the the holistic approach to the entire lyric, which is hauntingly beautiful and evocative, and switching into "flavor of the day mode" where it's become "show us your best shadow shot".
I don't really CARE, of course, but I was looking forward to seeing more images that capture that sense of refined melancholy that heightens in the face of the coming of the night.
"..and the shadow of the day
will embrace the world in gray
and the sun will set for you."
Not sure how my post favors color over neutral, but LOVE the shot :-)

Thank you -- I think it was reminding me about the "setting sun" which made me want to try and get away from the all-gray look.
I'll post screen-shots of the "funny" curves I used to get that effect -- no selections used ...
