I've decided to get my fiance a digital camera - he is in the construction business and right now uses his palm pilot camera to take photos of his jobs when he's done ... or disposables and he makes a continuos portfolio.
I've done a search through google and found info on three cameras that seem would do the job for his situation:
Konica DG-2
Fuji DS-260
Casio GV-10
but unfortuantly i can not find any of these cameras actually for sale ... does anyone have any other suggestions? or ideas where i can find them?
I'm hoping to find one with an LCD screen and he really doesnt need anything more than a 2.0 MP and maybe with a little zoom ... but it needs to hold up to possible rain and dirt and dust - and these three seemed like they would.

I am in no way an expert on these things, but I used to have a Olumpus Stylus 105 film camera in my kit bag when I used to work for the Warden Service. It was my primary evidence camera for work in the field. It got banged around, dropped a few times, but kept producing excellent photos. Olympus totes it as being splash-proof and quite dust-proof as well.
Olympus has now come out with a digital equivalent called the Stylus 300 digital.
I just checked on checked on Henrys.com and they sell it for $298.51
I belive most of the new line of olympuses are weather resistant.
The Olympus Stylus series (I think the C-400 is most popular) are in water-resistant cases. Also Sony has a new 2MP camera which is supposed to be actually waterproof down to 5 feet -- not enough for diving but fun in/around the pool, and should be great in the rain.
thanks general .. yeah i've seen the sony online - but i dont think it has an lcd screen where he could see the photo after he takes it ... his palm does that now ... but i'm going to try and see it in a shop and do more research :)
