There was a thread here this morning advertising cataloging and stock submission software. The guy had just registered and posted the ad. It looked like quite good s/w.
Now I can't find it. Was the thread hidden or moved?
Why not move it to the 'Tips, Tricks & Q&A' forum (where Joey posted his DVD ad) ?
I thought the software was quite relevant to photography, and some people here might have found it useful. But more importantly, I find it questionable that Joey's advert was allowed, but this advert wasn't.
Relevant to photography or not, we simply don't allow people to sign onto the site purely for the purpose of pimping a product.
It's a little different when established members of the community post something for sale.
