Well my dumbass kept the card in the reader while I was re-installing my operating system... and now I am getting an error when trying to read it that the card is not formatted. When i try to format it, i get a new message saying that it cannot be formatted.

Anyone ran into this?

My lexar CF card did that. Neither my computer nor my camera would format it, or record to it. I sent mine back for repair/exchange under the lifetime warranty, no questions asked.

Just called SanDisk... they emailed me a fedex printout label and as soon as they recieve my defective one they will mail back a nice new one
