After a very long time fooling around, we (my gallerymates and I) finally asked an expert to help with a decent website for our Gallery, A Woman's Eye, in San Francisco.
Well, the expert we asked, smurfguy, is fantastic. He gave us a splendid site. We've just taken the training wheels off, and I invite you all to take a look:
I heartily agree with Tink and Ann... Papa Smurf did you a bang-up job!! The best part of the site is the simplistic approach... although the site is far from simple. Clean, clear and visually appealing are the first standouts, but ease of use and the graceful flow from one photographer to another and the pictures they show are outstanding.
Offhand, I would say you couldn't have gotten anyone who could have done a better job! Your website is G-rrr-eee-aaa-tttttttttttt!!!
I think it looks great, and it is easy to navigate. The only little nitpick suggestion I would have would be to center your rights|protected text at the bottom of all pages to the links on top. When you look at individual large size images, it is centered to the width of the full page and is out of balance.
Other than that, there are some fabulous images to view, wish you the best of lick~!
