Well, I was pretty pleased with my first outing, and the cold is persisting, although not quite as intensely, so I decided to go out and take some more along the same lines. I admit that since it wasn't quite as cold, I got out of the car a few times, but most were from the car window. Based on one of John Setzler's posts, I shot many of them through the front windshield.

I used a different lens (Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO) set at 70mm. This new focal length made the blind shots a little more difficult (some ended up in the trash bin), but still yielded some interresting results.
Same deal with the high contrast BW, although I re-edited some to be slightly less dark.
