Wondering if anyone knows of a way to change the background canvas color (the area where you pictures are displayed for editing/preview)?
It is darker then what the DPC background color is and since colors appear to change depending on the background they are placed on, want to try and match DPC background when editing photos for submission (rather then upload, preview go back to editor and edit).
Not that this would have helped with any of my past submissions doing better lol... but i had a potential submission for the current sihlouettes one where it looked differently in the two environments.
I have PS5 now, but maybe you could do it this way.
First, set the colour you want as a background colour (at the bottom of the toolbar where it's usually white and black). Then open a new blank file and choose Background Color from Background Contents (Other choices you might have are White and Transparent).
I did this accidently recently - actually changed mine to pure white - but I remember how. ;)
From your desktop, right click & choose properties, then Appearance then Advanced -- what you want to change is "Application Background" from the middle dropdown box. Granted it will affect the background of all applications, but I kinda liked it so kept them all pure white. :)
