That's a very smooth shot and an amazing subject.
I think your edited shot is definitely the one, but I think the reflection has been too deepened towards the bottom. By mirroring the tones more evenly it makes for a more dazzling shot, whereas the differentiation of top and bottom gives the game away too much. The burning in the other areas adds much depth. |
