Ha! I'm lucky to be going at all. This is a "guys night out" turned into a 4 day trip to Maui. Me and my neighborhood drinking buddies. Took me 3 months to figure out how to tell the wife. Should be fun though - I'll have to drown out the guilt with Mai Tais. Sorry to miss you there though - it's a photo paradise! Hope to come back with some good shots. ...as well as the ones I consume while I am there. :D
This will be my 4th trip.... I should just move there! LOL Cant wait, because they do Halloween up really well there! Lahaina is suppose to be amazing on Halloween!
Yep - my brother goes there almost every year for Halloween in Lahaina. I have only been to Maui once in 1997 - a company rewards type trip - 7 days all expenses paid, brought the whole family (6 of us then).
I found out it is incredibly cheap to fly there - tickets this time cost $320 round trip, non-stop from Seattle. Hawaiian airlines. Hope that inspires some folks to get together with you! :D
I will be in Maui at the Maui Prince Hotel on the 22nd around 11pm and dont fly out again till the 23rd (next day) around 11pm. So if you are around on the 22nd I'm free for late night drinks.. or all day on the 23rd.
