Does that mean my original is no longer an original? OMG
Once you open you picture into any program and you alter any part of it or just resave it, it's no longer the original. You need to save your photos directly from your camera (into an 'origianls' folder) onto your computer, these are originals. Use copies to work on, not your original.

This is RAW conversion not post RAW. I have always done that in PS, Adjust open and duplicate original to edit. Rawshooter you edit the Raw image and it opens a tif file in PS.

I have recently switched to Lightroom from Rawshooter. V1.1 has fixed a number of my issues with v1.0. It is still slow, but it has some really good features and tagging appears very easy if you are so inclined.
As far as I'm aware Rawshooter doesn't alter the original files what so ever! It creates it's own file in a directory called .RW Settings which is what it loads for each modified RAW file. You will notice that if you modify the RAW at all in Rawshooter it will create a corresponding file in that directory. Your original RAW is untouched! Perhaps someone can correct me if I am wrong.
